What is Plastering?
Plastering is a 2 step process, usually consisting of boarding then skimming. Plasterboards are installed which is what is behind the paint on your walls. We then go onto the plastering part, also known as skimming. This art is to remove any imperfections in walls, especially those that have been up for a while. Using a trowel and special lighting equipment that acts as sunlight. The better the plastering work, the nicer the finish will look once it has been painted. Plaster(skim) is applied 2-3cm thick and will leave the brown colour on your wall, please note this is not a type of finish.
